My Process

Your privacy matters to me. Unlike many photographers, I don’t share client photos online—not even on my own website. I believe your images should stay as personal as the moments we capture. For those who’ve generously given permission, I showcase a select few prints in a private, physical portfolio (which you may see during our complimentary consultation). This way, your trust is honored every step of the way.

To further protect your privacy, I use editing software that operates completely offline—unlike many popular programs, it’s not connected to the internet and doesn’t use your images for AI training or data collection. Your photos stay secure, private, and entirely in my hands from start to finish. Your complimentary consultation is the foundation on which we’ll build your photo shoot and bring your end vision to life.

A moment in time frozen for your memories.

IN PERSON

CONSULTATION

I’m here to help bring your vision to life. Before your consultation, you’ll have the chance to share the spaces in your home where you’d love to display your images—this helps me come prepared with a game plan tailored to you. During our consult, my goal is to get to know you and your family’s personalities and dynamics. We’ll also talk through styling, what clothing photographs best, and all the little details that make a big difference—some you might not have even considered yet.

03.

The Photo shoot

It’s the big day—and no need to stress (even if you feel a little nervous)! By this point, we’ve already discussed where your images will go, what you and your family will be wearing, and the overall look you’re envisioning—whether it’s casual and relaxed or polished and refined. As both a mom and retired military, I understand that things don’t always go exactly as planned—and that’s okay.  We’ll adapt, roll with it, and most importantly, enjoy the process together.

04.

Delivering photos

You’ll receive beautifully curated and professionally edited images, ready to be displayed in your home—whether on your walls or in a timeless, keepsake album. The delivery timeline depends on how you choose to showcase your images. Framed pieces may take a bit more time, while albums or print boxes typically arrive sooner. It all comes down to your final vision for your space, and I’ll guide you through every step to make it seamless and meaningful.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

That’s so exciting—I'm here to guide you every step of the way. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do; we’ll keep things relaxed and natural. We'll coordinate before hand on the outfits to bring in order to best suit your style and where you're displaying the images. The more you share about your style and personality, the more we can create images that truly reflect you.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that makes you feel confident and relaxed. Avoid logos, patterns, and stripes (especially small or horizontal ones). Solid, neutral colors work best; steer clear of tones too close to your skin and bright colors that may reflect. Black is totally fine—textured black can look great on camera. Make sure your clothing is wrinkle-free, and if it fits loosely, we can adjust it during the shoot to flatter your shape.

How many pictures will I receive?

This question is totally up to you.
Which products do you want to purchase and display in your home? Would you want wall art, or a photo album prominently displayed in your home? We can get a clearer picture of your needs when we have your first consultation, as this will help me create the images you want for your space.

Are you available on Sundays?

Unfortunately no, as Sunday is for God, family and rest, not just for me, but for you as well.

Do you do family photography?

Yes, I do! Up to 6 people, ask for a quote for larger groups.

Where can I have my photos taken?

As a studio photographer, I’ve learned that while a shoot can sometimes feel a little chaotic, there’s one thing I can always rely on—light. It’s truly magical. Whether we’re in the studio, outside in natural surroundings, or in the comfort of your home or a meaningful location, light helps shape the mood and emotion of your images. Being able to work with it—whether I’m controlling it or embracing its natural beauty—allows me to create art that’s not only beautiful, but also deeply personal and aligned with the vision we’ve created together.
